In an age where so many of us… especially kids… seem to have a lot of allergies, two Charlottesville women have used this opportunity to begin a new business making allergen-free baked goods. The women call themselves the “Nut-Free Ladies” and they bake cookies, cupcakes, and cakes in many non-allergen varieties.
Necessity is the mother of their invention. These women have children of their own who also have allergies, so they developed recipe substitutes that taste yummy. They can produce vegan baked goods or dairy-free treats as well. Their cooking utensils are carefully chosen and sterilized.
