This summer, maybe take your BFF to the drive-in movie? There’s one near Charlottesville at Fork Union, another near Lexington, and this drive-in near Goochland. They’re all included in a great article in the link below, so you may want to bookmark this link.
It’s always fun to link you to information about how to have a good time around Charlottesville and Central Virginia and lucky for us, a local newspaper has compiled a list of their favorite things to do in the summer in our area, and we’re excited to share it with you HERE.
These are not your ordinary activities. In our opinion, this list gives you a terrific cross section of slightly-off-the-beaten-path ideas for having a good time around Charlottesville. We’ve already written about a couple of them…. the Chiles strawberry and peach patch, the delightful Batesville store etc.
But you can round out your fun by hiking at Crabtree Falls, or horseback riding at Graves Mt. Lodge, or how about the Flying Circus Airshow at the Bealeton airport?
Go. Shoo. Have fun. It’s summer!
